It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas... Ella's first Christmas!!!! I am so excited for Christmas this year. I have a extreme want to decorate and a new excitement for Christmas this year. It is the 3rd Christmas for B and I and the kids but now with Ella here I feel like we are much more complete and all tied together as one BIG family. Every few years I get all crazy excited over the holidays... And this year I am decorating in a new way. I usually use bright, fun colors to keep things all pretty in a kids pretty, but this year I am bringing the nature in. I want things all red and woodsie. I made some snow candles that I absolutly LOVE!! And I am also taking out some of the older more traditional decorations.. ( I kind of think that this change in my x-mas decor has something to do with that little thing they call turning 30... I notice all these "I am definitely getting older moments" in my behavior lately. )
So we went to get Ella's first Christmas tree... YIKES... She did not like that at all. She was scared of every tree that anyone held up to look at and cried and cried. So I did not get any pictures.. I was kind of sad about it but now that we have the tree home and up and she is used to it I am thinking maybe we can take her back over the weekend and see if we can snap a few photos. Now the tree is up and it has lights on it but its kind of crooked and weird.. Its not tiny and its not huge but it is a sad little tree. We will do our best to make it a happy tree... I just need a few more things and my decorations will be done and the boys still have the lights to put up outside. It will all get done and come together... I hope...
